Dulcie Kelly Nangala was born in 1965 and comes from Papunya Community in Central Australia. She is the daughter of famous and acclaimed Aboriginal artist Lily Kelly Napangardi. She now lives at Mount Leibig Community.
In 1995 Dulcie began learning how to paint with the assistance of her grandmother, she was taught of the important land marks of her country and the women's ceremonies that take place there.
It was her mother, Lily Kelly, who has taught Dulcie the "Sandhill Dreaming" and the artistic skill to paint the Dreaming. Dulcie's artwork is heavily influenced by her mother however she has with her mothers support also developed her Dreaming into her own unique style.
Dulcie's artworks typically depict a topographical view of her country which surrounds Kintore in the Western Desert.
