Biography:
Dean Bowen was born in Maryborough Victoria (1957). He attended Maryborough Technical College studying Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography and Printmaking.
Dean has been making Art for over 40 years. His multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture and printmaking, with a prolific creative output consistently evolving through 'a prism of humour and optimism'.
The journey is a common theme in Dean’s work, it can be a car, a boat, or animals on the horizon making that journey, not so much a physical journey but in many ways an emotional and spiritual journey.
